Who am I?
Caroline Barrett, BSc, MSc, MBACP.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and as such am committed to following their Ethical Framework.

I have a BSc in Counselling and an MSc in Psychology of Education for which my research focused on wellbeing and emotion regulation. I have worked with clients in NHS settings so have experience with people who come from many different backgrounds, with a wide range of things that have brought them to counselling.
Prior to becoming a Counsellor I worked as a birth and postnatal Doula, supporting men, women and families who are going through life-changing experiences and one of the biggest shifts in their identities they will ever experience.

Being in private practice allows me to work with clients in the way that suits them, for as long as we decide our work needs.
